Join us in Sydney on Wednesday 12th of June at University of Technology Sydney, ProtoSpace Laboratory, and Melbourne on Friday 14th of June at CSIRO Lab 22, for one of five 90 minute 3D printing hands-on workshops to show what the Future of Industrial Manufacturing holds.<\/p>\n

See the Markforged Metal X 3D Printer in action and learn how quick and cost-effective parts can be designed and fabricated for manufacturing.<\/p>\n

In each of the five 90 minute hands-on workshop sessions throughout the day, we will:
\u2022 Review the trends in metal additive manufacturing
\u2022 See the whole process from CAD to final 3D printed part
\u2022 Learn about an innovative metal printing process priced from $215k
\u2022 Hear real-world customer applications that prove their ROI
\u2022 Walk away with tips on how to identify 3D printing opportunities on your production line
\u2022 Hear how local companies are leveraging Markforged composite printers to print metal strength carbon fibre parts.
By leveraging innovative technology to produce custom manufactured parts for your operations, you can avoid costly delays and downtime.<\/p>\n

Included in the Sydney session is a short tour of the UTS Protospace Laboratory. ProtoSpace is a 900m\u00b2 advanced additive manufacturing facility, offering industry partners, academics, and students access to a wide range cutting-edge 3D technologies, software, and technical expertise, and focusing on rapid prototyping, education, research and development.<\/p>\n

The Melbourne session includes a short tour of CSIRO’s Lab 22. Lab 22 is Australia\u2019s centre for innovation in metallic additive manufacturing. CSIRO Lab 22 machines are categorised on how the raw material is fed (powder bed, cold spray, blown powder) or their heat source (e-beam or laser). They can also handle a wide variety of materials including ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals and sand.<\/p>\n
